I first met Simon when he was 10. It was at his grandparents home, Michael and Betty Pierce's at 5 The Rise Palmers Green, North London. Due to mostly living abroad, I didn't have any direct contact with Simon, but was always kept up to date by his proud grandmother, Betty Pierce. Now that I have returned home to Ireland and being closer to the UK, I have been brought up to date about Simon more closely over the last 2 years, from Linda's emails and his grandmother Betty Pierce.
